Zuni Jewelry

Cherokee Knife Maker, Ted Miller is an American Indian Artisan, of Miami-Peoria-Cherokee heritage. He has won over fifty significant awards. He carves images of his heritage and culture from stories passed down through his ancestors. Ted makes the handles for his knives from natural shed Deer and Elk Antler enhanced with semiprecious stones such as turquoise, coral, and onyx. Black handles are made from Buffalo horn. The blades for the knives are hand-shaped, sharpened, polished and heat-treated individually from 440C stainless steel, 56-60 Rockwell, and acid etched designs are worked on the larger blades .

Testimonials

In Their Words

Kassi Porter

Very beautiful & reasonably priced handmade jewelry. Better than some I've see. Of all the "trading posts" and "souvenir shops" this is the one I would stop at. They have many unique items.

Seth Lindsey

Exactly what is needed for a kitschy experience on the road. This place is full of treasures, from touristy junk to exquisite handmade jewelery, rugs & pottery. Restrooms are nice. Employees were very courteous & helpful

Vicki Cordova

I have driven several times between Arizona & New Mexico. I finally stopped. The ladies that greeted us were very friendly & kind. This was well worth the stop & the bonus was the very clean and beautiful restrooms. I will definitely be stopping again!
